The film, directed by Bill Yukich (Beyoncé, Metallica, Wiz Khalifa) is available for viewing on digital and cable VOD in the US and Canada via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu, Comcast, Dish Network, Verizon Fios, and Mediacom, and is also available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD. A visual counterpart to the album’s narrative about a mental health journey and the resolve of the human spirit, the ATTENTION ATTENTION film weaves together the album’s 14 songs into a provocative and thought-provoking cinematic story that illuminates yet another dimension of Shinedown’s limitless creativity. The band recently brought the LP to life in a riveting feature film. Planet Zero follows Shinedown’s 2018 acclaimed album ATTENTION ATTENTION, which was certified RIAA Gold. The band will then embark on a run of Canadian dates beginning in July with support from Pop Evil and Ayron Jones. In June, Shinedown will head overseas for a UK and European run featuring festival appearances at Rock im Park and Rock am Ring in Germany, Download Festival in the UK, and HellFest in France along with select shows with Iron Maiden. Later in May, Shinedown will head to Daytona Beach for Welcome To Rockville 2022 where they’ll headline Saturday, May 21st alongside Guns N’ Roses and Rise Against. Beginning April 1st, Shinedown will take their The Revolution’s Live Tour to more cities all across the US in April and May, with special guests The Pretty Reckless and DIAMANTE. Fast-rising rock artist and one to watch, Ayron Jones, opens for Shinedown on this run through early February. Shinedown kicks off the first leg of their US tour with the Shinedown Live In Concert Tour tonight (Wed, Jan 26th) in San Francisco at The Warfield, before heading to Los Angeles for a show at The Wiltern on January 28th. Shinedown will be hitting the road in support of the project with their biggest stage show yet, propelled by the undeniable power of front man Brent Smith’s voice. Not only a driving force for their songwriting, their humanitarian outlook led Shinedown to be one of the first artists to fundraise for non-profit humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, raising more than $400,000 with their “Atlas Falls” relief effort. While a raw ferocity fuels much of Planet Zero on tracks like “The Saints of Violence and Innuendo,” “No Sleep Tonight,” and “America Burning,” there is also hope, triumph, and reminders that we all need one another on songs like “Daylight,” “Dysfunctional You,” and “A Symptom of Being Human.” After all, it is the band’s impassioned striving for unity that has long been at the heart of their creative output and deeply informed the making of Planet Zero. Produced by Shinedown’s Eric Bass (who also produced the band’s 2018 acclaimed album ATTENTION ATTENTION,) and recorded at Bass’ newly built Big Animal Studio in South Carolina, Planet Zero matches its immersive world-building and takedown of authoritarianism with a deliberately unvarnished sound, and the album is spliced with interludes featuring Cyren, an insidious and unsettling robot character that appears throughout the Planet Zero journey. A critical yet optimistic look at the fractures and frays of a society that has undergone many challenges in the last few years, the album is part social commentary and part in-depth exploration of the human psyche. Their most ambitious and masterfully realized work to date, Planet Zero is a high-concept, ultra-vivid, viscerally charged saga. Over the last two decades, Shinedown have cemented their status as one of the most vital and forward-thinking powerhouses in modern rock. The fact is that we’re all here on this planet no matter what, so it’s time to actually move forward together with empathy, perseverance and strength. But we’re starting to see parts of society slip into an unknown. “When you look outside of your phone, you’ll see there are so many people doing good things and trying to take care of each other. “If we shut each other down and allow ourselves to be divided by the information we consume and the way we talk to each other, we lose our humanity,” vocalist Brent Smith says.

We want to be a one-stop shop for fashion for the entire family.Juliette Porter debuts her JMP The Label swim line at Miami Swim Week on Saturday (July 16) in Miami, Fla. We definitely have more plans for the future to do more categories. JP: Absolutely! We are also launching resort wear and clothing pieces. AG: Do you have any plans to expand your brand further outside of swimwear and activewear? I’m eager for JMP The Label to be more accessible through special curated retail partnerships and collaborations. JP: We are talking about taking the brand global next year and we’re really excited about what that will mean for us it’s definitely going to the next level. Kelsey Owens AG: Do you have any plans to carry your line in any major retail stores? If so, which ones? We are real women creating a line for real women, it’s important for us to take into consideration what women need and want to feel their best. We really like to add versatility and convertibility into the styles so that it adds value and can be worn many ways. We put major emphasis on the quality of each collection so that the garments last multiple swim seasons. It’s so important to us that women feel gorgeous in our suits, whether they are a 25-year-old jetsetter or a 45-year-old mom. We are mindful about having styles in each collection that would work for a size 2 or a size 14. During the fitting process, we focus on putting our garments on multiple-sized fit models to make sure that each style will fit perfectly on a size small or a 2X. I think the key is creating pieces that can be worn by everyone. JP: JMP The Label is all about empowering women, inducing happiness and fun, creating connections, and more. These are absolutely some of my new favorites and the creative process was really fun to come up with a way to reinvent our bestseller! AG: What makes the brand stand out? We reimagined them by doing a melange knit in high contrast & bright colors and we added some new sexy bodies. Our crochet styles are JMP the Label brand staples and really put us on the map. But what really stands out as most meaningful are our newest crochet collections, blue mirage and pink mirage. JP: Every collection we do is special for different reasons. Photo Credit: Simon Soong AG: What collection meant the most to you and why? Our silhouettes are evolutions of our best-selling styles, really focusing on styles that work on multiple body types and are flattering and versatile. This fabric was a spark for us for the entire collection, we wanted to ensure we always have strong neutrals and a trendy take on classic fashion ideas. It allows the customer to have multiple suits in one. That really inspired us to find a new and exciting way to introduce an animal print that was more unexpected and we developed our reversible tiger fabric. Our customers loved the versatility and fun new take on an animal classic. We wanted to show the progression of our brand and when we first started JMP the Label in 2021, our Tortuga print was quickly a standout. JP: The theme of this collection is Into The Jungle. AG: Where do you get your inspiration for your new collection? Nothing is a failure as long as you’ve learned and taken something away from each situation that you can apply in the future. I remind myself of this often, especially when I feel low. Juliette Porter: Stay true to yourself and try your best. Andrea Gutierrez: What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs? In awe of the show and what the brand stand's for, it was a no-brainer that Gutierrez, in the excitement of it all, sat down with Porter to ask her the questions we've been wanting answered. Haute Beauty's very own Andrea Gutierrez, Vice President of Network Partnerships, sat in support of the exotic collection and empowering mission behind JMP The Label. The show, styled by Rebecca Weinberg of Sex and The City fame, mixed Miami Vice with 'Sex in the City' fashion, making for a captivating yet inspiring show for all notable attendees. The 'Into The Jungle' themed show held at the Paraiso Tent at Collins Park opened up with Miss USA, Elle Smith, and cast mate and model Kelsey Owens walking. Argento returned to thrillers with Deep Red (1975), frequently cited by many critics as the best giallo ever made. The director then turned his attention away from giallo movies, filming two Italian TV dramas and a period comedy, The Five Days ( Le cinque giornate, 1973). Along with The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, these three films are frequently referred to as Argento's "Animal Trilogy". Argento continued to concentrate largely on the giallo genre, directing two more successful thrillers, The Cat o' Nine Tails ( Il gatto a nove code, 1971) and Four Flies on Grey Velvet ( 4 mosche di velluto grigio, 1972). They’ve even played trumpets in Vegas while go-go dancers danced around them…400-pound go-go dancers. These guys led an interesting life and still resurface in pop culture. He was 32, leaving behind Benny, who’d live to 54 until succumbing to heart failure in 2001. There’s not a lot of details to be found about Billy’s death in 1979, but reports say that he died of complications 13 days after a mini-bike stunt in Niagra Falls, Ontario. When they traveled overseas for wrestling, the Japanese announcers would pronounce their last name, McCrary, as “McQueery.” They didn’t like the anti-macho connotation that created so a member of their entourage suggested the McGuire Twins, since the name worked well for the McGuire Sisters. After Billy died in ’79, Benny was even paired with Andre the Giant a few times. He’d seen them in the press and thought they’d be perfect for the ring, developing stunts that had other wrestlers running at them only to dramatically bounce off. Then, he said, “We’d ride into town and give autographs at a dealership for a couple hours.”Īfter fulfilling their cross-country trip obligations for Honda, wrestler Gory Guerrero offered them a gig in pro wrestling. Benny said they had a deal worked out with Holiday Inn, who provided rooms during the trip. It took them 30 days, averaging around 100 miles a day. Sponsored by Honda, they agreed to ride from New York to LA, presumably to show the durability of the bikes under the weight of the McCrary bros. Their attention and fame led to an opportunity to ride mini-bikes across the country. They grew to 600lbs each at 16 years of age. Their folks tried special diets and manual labor to work off the weight, but nothing helped. At ten years old they each weighed in at 200lbs. When Billy and Benny McCrary were born there were no signs of potential massiveness, but after the German Measles, their pituitary glands got out of whack. Here’s an infographic we’ve created to show the relative weight and scale of just how big these guys were. Not only were they the world’s heaviest twins, they were astride little Honda motorcycles. But it was the McCrary twins that probably made the biggest visual impact.
Once I’d gotten used to the initial strangeness of the game, I could enjoy its wholesome nature because there is nothing more wholesome than a world full of dogs. As a first-person photography experience, you’ll spend much of your time looking through a camera lens, so it was a little unnerving when I reached out to pet a dog with an arm that could belong to Mister Fantastic. I’ll admit it was a little creepy at first. As an anthropomorphic camera on legs – strange, I know – it’s our job to snap shots of these glorious dogs in action and share them with the world to build a social media following. Unique as it is, the premise is simple enough. Couple that with Pupperazzi’s catchy, upbeat music, and you’ve got yourself a great combination. It’s bright, colourful and full of variety – you can return to locations at different times of day, and they’ll have a whole new feel to them. Graphically speaking, Pupperazzi is simple but charming. There are a handful of humans milling about too, but it’s clear that the dogs run the show. Sundae Month’s Pupperazzi acknowledges our love for our canine friends and creates a vibrant, sandbox world full of dogs of all breeds and sizes. They’re inherently honest, affectionate, and make loyal companions. There is a reason dogs are so often described as man’s best friend. There might be better uses of my time than spending hour upon hour snapping shots of all the good pups out there, but I can’t imagine those uses would be more enjoyable. Crucially, the third stage of the Flagship always has a Supershield, and will in fact generate it anew periodically, guaranteeing that the Zoltan Shield Bypass will matter at least once, in the fight you most care about things mattering in. A boarding strategy having to wait for the Supershield to go down is a big issue if you have barely any armaments, and a really big problem if you have no non-bomb armaments. You certainly shouldn't buy a Battery Charger it's a waste of Scrap.Īllows Bombs, Crew Teleporters, and Mind Control to be used through Zoltan Supershields.įor extremely boarding-focused ships, like the Mantis Cruisers, it's worth considering acquiring this as early as you can reasonably afford it. 99% of the benefits of Stunning enemy crew in the room are being achieved just by Hacking it!ĭon't buy it, and if you loot it seriously consider immediately selling it. who cares? Enemies can't man Hacked Systems, and the AI won't try to leave a hacked room unless it's actively dangerous to them (eg on fire, out of oxygen) or the AI is running out of crew to send for tasks like repairing the Shields System. But with it Stunning all crew in just the Hacked room. If its Stun were more widespread, such as hitting the entire ship, it would be unclear how you optimize it but would at least be a kinda free edge. If it only Stunned enemy crew, it would be a way to lock some enemies in a room and then kill them even when your crew doesn't have a clear edge over enemy crew in boarding actions. I don't get what the purpose of this is intended to be. If you've eg acquired a Breach Missile, that can be worth paying such a reasonable cost to keep it firing, especially in a run that's hit the point where upgrading the ship's (Sub)Systems is a dubious investment of Scrap.Ī Hacking Pulse Stuns all crew inside the room for the duration of the Hacking Pulse. Still, that makes the effective price of buying a unit of missile ammo very slightly higher than 3 Scrap, instead of the 6 Scrap per shot you're normally paying. This will stay true no matter how many missiles you add to the count, as the underlying ratios aren't affected by your initial number's size. half a missile? So let's just stop there and call that 7.5 missiles fired from your initial stock of 4 missiles not quite doubling. You fire that, making for 7 missiles, and now the expected result is that you have. You fire those, so now you've fired 6 missiles, and the average result of the Explosive Replicator is that you have 1 missile left. The Explosive Replicator does its thing, and the average result is that you now have 2 more missiles to fire. You fire them all, so you've fired 4 shots. It's tempting to think of it as twice as far, but, well, let's walk through an example. It also makes it a lot more worth considering buying Missile ammo if you end up running low on it anyway, as the Explosive Replicator makes your ammo go much further, not quite twice as much further. You can't suddenly go all-in on a Missile spam strategy, but you can probably get away with running a Missile weapon continuously without paying much attention to ammo, especially if you already have 20+ Missile ammo when you find the Explosive Replicator, as you'll loot Missile ammo regularly enough that often you'll either end up gaining Missile ammo over time or at least bleeding it slowly enough that it doesn't run out before you win the game. It's incredibly frustrating that advanced edition didn't retcon this onto the Rock Cruiser A.Īnyway, the Explosive Replicator isn't as dramatic a gamechanger as the Drone Recovery Arm, but it has somewhat similar implications in that you can be a lot more cavalier with missile usage if you have it than if you don't. Expending a missile weapon's charge has a 50% chance to not use up a missile. For a while, Adobe’s been promising us a universal camera app that might act as a next-gen version of Photoshop Camera.
